Raphael Robic

Painterly Abstraction

Raphael Robic was born in Le Midi, France where he studied fine art beginning at an early age. Raphael was always very sure of his calling to the arts, he explained “when I was seven, a journalist asked me what work I would like to do later. I answered him; I shall be an artist, a painter. Since then, everyday when I am working, I respect my oath.” Throughout his life he has traveled and studied gaining the exposure and experience that makes him the wonderful artist he is today.

Raphael Robic enjoys painting eclectic compositions derived from nature and daily life but interprets each subject in a bold and unique way. Robic’s passion for the arts is evident in each luminescent composition he creates.

Robic’s otherwise traditional subject matter is brought to life by his brilliant use of color, arrangement of varied blocks of texture, fine but rapid brush work and perfectly balanced compositions. His technique draws viewers into his art. Robic fantastically describes the elements of his subject bringing each radiant composition to life.

Raphael Robic has exhibited internationally and his artwork can be found in both private and public collections. Among his many awards he has earned a gold medal from the Chevaliers des Arts in Arles and First Prize from the Conseil General des Yvelines.
